More recently we have provided Design & Build Consultancy services to Contractors & Clients with particular expertise in Road, Rail and Pedestrian Bridges. In particular, we can use our expert knowledge of construction site logistics and temporary works, to create efficient designs that are simple to construct. We can do this while still achieving the high end detailing and aesthetics we all want to achieve in the finished product.

Position 1 - Civil Infrastructure Engineer Hillsborough

Your new role

Civil Structures Design Engineer to work within an established 5-person team which includes one of the senior management team. You will be developing structural solutions from concept stage through detailed design, as well as advising Contractors during the construction phase on site. We work on a wide range of projects such as bridges, embedded retaining walls and reinforced concrete structures, and have developed close collaborative relationships with D&B Contractors, Steel fabricators, precast concrete suppliers, and other specialist consultants. The applicant should possess a can-do approach, a willingness to constantly learn and have enthusiasm for improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for the role you will hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have a minimum of 2-4 years post graduate experience. Experience using design software analysis packages along with AutoCAD or Revit would be highly advantageous. As well as the technical skills, you should be able to demonstrate a creative approach to the design process.

Position 2 - Structural Assessment Engineer- Hillsborough

Your new role

We are looking for a Chartered, or approaching Chartered, Structural Assessment Engineer, to work independently alongside an established 5-person team which includes one of the senior management team. The work will include working on structurally innovative assessment projects, based in our Hillsborough office, but with the role requiring site visits, as well as to our R&D Academic and subcontractor partners. This particular role will involve working in close collaboration with industry specialists, and with a research focus, to develop and further our understanding and capability with Structural Health Monitoring & use of Innovative materials. The applicant should possess a can-do approach, a willingness to constantly learn and have enthusiasm for improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for the role you will hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have a minimum of 2-4 years post graduate experience. Experience using design software analysis packages, including FEA, along with AutoCAD would be highly advantageous. As well as the technical skills, you should be able to demonstrate a creative approach to the design process, along with pro-active communication skills.
