Design ID provided all civil and structural engineering for the new £1m innovation space beside the River Medway in Strood, Kent, including design of foundations, support structures and walkways, as well as sustainable drainage design. We were able to introduce large savings to the client by justifying the use of the existing foundations on the site, as well as justifying the stability of the shipping containers under full river flooding conditions.
