The 1950s-built bridge connecting Castle Emplacement to Castle Cornet on Guernsey is undergoing long-term structural monitoring to ensure continued access to the castle and breakwater.
McFarland Associates having been carrying out a Structural Condition Assessment and Sensor Installation, with Structural Assessment Assistance provided by Design ID, prior to a Dynamic Load Test of the historic Castle Cornet Bridge on Guernsey. By providing long-term monitoring of the structure they are able to maintain access to the castle and breakwater.
