To maintain the same standard of patient care, the Southern Health and Social Care Trust’s recognised a need to extend their GP out of hours surgery with a modular build via the NHS SBS framework.
It was critical the modules were delivered to programme to ensure emergency vehicle routes could remain open throughout construction.
Using the latest in in-house developed technology, Design ID fast-tracked the structural design for the module frames and foundations, leading to shorter waiting lists for patients of the hospital.
To detract from the regularity often seen throughout modular builds, a bespoke timber roof truss was modelled and designed by Design ID, to create a unique roof profile to the facility. Modular specialists McAvoy fit-out the modules on site, with all superstructure, substructure and drainage designed and detailed by Design ID.
