Hope Gardens is an emergency housing scheme based in West London, built using 20ft container dwellings. These containers make up emergency housing for a maximum occupancy of 288 people, consisting of 8 studios units for 1-2 people, 32 x 2 bedroom units for 3-6 people, 20 x 1 bedroom units for 2-4 people.
Onsite facilities include a management office and laundry. This project was constructed in 24 weeks. It is constructed from a kit of movable and reusable parts of the UK produced shipping containers, providing an immediate solution to the short- term accommodation need.
