Ryan Wade

Ryan is a Chartered Civil Engineer and an NEC Accredited Project Manager with 18 years in the Civil Engineering, gaining particular experience in Infrastructure and Civil sectors. He also has gained a breadth of knowledge in other disciplines/sectors, including Residential, Commercial, Education, Energry, and Rail.

Ryan has been involved in all stages of the Project Lifecycle, including Concept Design, Scheme Development, Planning, Statutory Approvals, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, Tender Procurement, Construction Supervision, and Construction Management/Delivery. He also has experience with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and Design and Build (D&B) projects. Ryan has collaboratively worked with and managed a wide range of Contractors, Clients and Public Bodies/Stakeholders, and has administered various construction contracts including NEC3, NEC4, ICC and JCT.

Ryan has a passion for Project Management and the Management and Delivery of Construction Projects, with a keen interest to develop further in Contact Law and Management. Having previously worked at AECOM, WSP, and McAdam Design Limited before joining Design ID's Hillsborough Office as an Associate Infrastructure Engineer.

Since 2021, Ryan has been on Engineer Irelands Professional Chartership review board, undertaking reviewer and most recently interviewer duties for all levels of Professional Qualifications.

Outside of work and family, Ryan’s hobbies include racing in the Ulster Superbike Championship (USBK) and has a passion for all things Motorsport.
