Niloshen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa and thereafter began working in the country’s power utility company in 2011.
Niloshen was appointed in the structural design office and was seconded from 2011 to 2013 to the construction site of the new 4800 MW coal fired power station in the fleet gaining project engineering, structural design and construction experience. Niloshen was thereafter involved in providing Engineering services to the fleet of power stations and worked on a wide range of civil and structural greenfield and brownfield projects. These included studies for retrofitting flue gas desulphurization in the coal fleet, analysis and design of several industrial type steel, reinforced concrete and masonry structures, construction monitoring and conducting conditional assessments of the power stations.
Niloshen obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Honours postgraduate degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Pretoria in 2016. He registered with the Engineering Council of SA as a Professional Engineer in 2017 and is a Member of the SA Institution of Civil Engineering.
